The Skill Acquisition Programme was designed around the idea that students should graduate with more than theoretical knowledge. They should also have practical skills they can use to create value, communicate effectively and take advantage of opportunities in the digital economy.
The programme brought together practical skill development and career preparation, giving participants the opportunity to learn, practise and improve skills that are increasingly relevant across different industries.

What We Learned
Data Analytics
Data is everywhere. Knowing how to understand it is becoming increasingly valuable. The Data Analytics sessions introduced participants to the fundamentals of working with data and turning information into useful insights. Participants explored how data can support better decision-making and help businesses understand problems, identify patterns and make more informed choices.
Video Editing
Visual communication has become an important part of how businesses, brands and individuals communicate online. The Video Editing sessions introduced participants to practical approaches to creating and editing video content for digital platforms. From understanding the fundamentals of editing to producing engaging visual content, participants gained skills they could continue developing beyond the programme.
Content Creation
Creating content is more than simply posting online. The Content Creation sessions explored how to develop purposeful digital content that communicates an idea, captures attention and connects with an intended audience. Participants were introduced to practical approaches to content development and the role of creativity in digital communication.
Career Masterclasses
SAP also went beyond technical skills. Participants took part in career-focused masterclasses designed to help them present themselves more effectively in the professional world.
LinkedIn Optimization
Your LinkedIn profile can be more than an online CV. The LinkedIn Optimization masterclass focused on how students can build a professional presence, communicate their skills and experiences, and position themselves more effectively online. Participants learned how to make their profiles clearer, more professional and more aligned with their career goals.
CV Writing
A good CV should make it easier for an employer to understand your value. The CV Writing masterclass focused on helping students communicate their education, experiences, skills and achievements in a clear and professional way. Participants were introduced to practical principles for structuring and improving their CVs as they prepare for internships, jobs and other opportunities.
