BSA MARATHON • UNITED BY STRIDE

Run. Connect.
Go Further.

A faculty-wide celebration of fitness, endurance and community.

Hosted by the Office of the Sports Secretary, the one-day event gave students from different departments the opportunity to step away from the classroom, challenge themselves physically and connect with one another through sport.

About the Marathon

Running is simple. You show up, you start moving, and you keep going.

The BSA Marathon was built around that simple idea. The event brought together students from departments across the faculty for a shared running experience that tested endurance while creating an atmosphere of participation and friendly competition.

Participants took on a designated route across multiple laps, pushing themselves to keep going while representing their respective departments.

Whether participants came to compete, improve their fitness or simply experience something different with their friends, the marathon created space for everyone to take part.

More Than a Race

The marathon wasn't only about who crossed the finish line first.

  • It was about showing up.
  • It was about pushing past the point where your legs wanted to stop.
  • It was about seeing students from different departments come together, compete and encourage one another.

And it was about creating a healthier, more active student community.

The Experience

Endurance

Participants took on multiple laps of the designated route, testing their stamina and determination throughout the event.

Competition

Students represented their departments and challenged themselves alongside participants from across the faculty.

Community

The marathon created an opportunity for students who may not otherwise interact to share an experience outside the classroom.

Participation

You didn't need to be a professional athlete to take part. The event was designed to bring students together through movement.

Keep Moving

The marathon may have been a one-day event, but the idea behind it goes further.

A strong student community isn't built only in lecture halls. It is built through shared experiences, healthy competition, friendship and opportunities to connect.

The BSA Marathon was one more way to bring the faculty together.
